Outside...in the community...in service and in teams... a morning a month.
This spring Crossroads began 2nd Saturday with expressed intent to involve groups of folks together in meaningful monthly community service projects. Time is precious to all … come by 8, let's get started, and we're done by noon.
Come upstairs to the youth room the second Saturday of any month by 8am.
Within 25 minutes we'll share what 2nd Saturday is all about, what it is not, what the projects of the morning are and divide into teams … and you're on your way! You choose the project, meet teammates, go and serve, and be home for lunch.

WHY?
You're never more like Jesus than when you serve, and especially when you're doing it for right reasons. Come join others (who may become new friends) in service in outreach that honors the Lord and attracts people to Him. This morning of community service is serving needs (perceived or not) in humility. While we might not be sitting down and walking through what the Gospel means, we will be modeling a facet of evangelism.
It isn't about us feeling good, but you will, and you will be glad you came.
It may lead to a more involved role with a ministry or at a ministry site later.
It will be time invested in a team experience of service and outreach
